An innovative vehicle that performs physical interactions with its users, inspired by sensitive robotics.
UX
mobility concept
Objective
B.A. Thesis in the program Transportation Design at Pforzheim University
(Solo project)
Scope
Investigate how vehicles can be facilitated as the physical interface between passenger and technology. Explore how negative associations of autonomous driving can be anticipated through interactive and empathic design.
Role: Research, Concept, UX, 2D Design & 3D-Modelling, Visualization
Outcome
Extensive mobility concept, B.A. Thesis and physical prototype.
Graduated with honors
Outcome
UX shows how ride-hailing services can become tailored user experiences. Being shareable and in a compact size for 1 - 2 passengers, this concept is an appeal to rationalize urban mobility. Through performing the gesture of opening and closing, the vehicle becomes a versatile yet accessible interface between users and autonomous technology.
